James Anderson is Australia's leading authority on Habits of Mind. He is the Director of Mindful by Design: a business dedicated to supporting schools, business and the wider community working with the Habits of Mind. James respects the great body of knowledge and experience held within the educational community and consistently seeks to work in a collaborative, generative and ongoing nature with anyone interested in Habits of Mind.

Karen Boyes is described as Australasia's "Mrs Education." An expert in effective teaching, study skills, learning and living, Karen turns research into practical and simple to use techniques that create success. As the Founder of Spectrum Education and an Associate Director for the Institute for Habits of Mind, Karen is an expert of teaching and implementing the Habits of Mind throughout the world.  A dynamic presenter, she inspires teachers and students around the world.

Ricky was awarded the master degree of Education and the master degree of Educational Research Method by the University of Western Australia. He is the Chairman of the Association of Brain-based Learning in Education and served as the project manager, principal trainer, guest speaker, part-time tutor and education consultant of different sections of Education Bureau, Tertiary Institutions, Primary and Secondary Schools in Hong Kong.

(Cert. Ed., B Ed., M. Ed.) Ansen is currently taking the Doctor of Education Program offered by the University of Western Australia. She has been a frontline English Language for over 16 years. From 2000-2003, she was the part-time tutor of the Thinking Qualities Initiative of the Hong Kong Baptist University and was awarded by the institute as the 21^st Century Thinking Teacher., She was certified as an International Brain-Based Trainer by the Jensen Learning Cooperation and also recognized by Professor Arthur L.

Michele's professional work for the last twelve years has focused on educational reform prioritizing the understanding of both content and leadership development within all levels of a PK–16 system. At the El Paso Collaborative for Academic Excellence, Michele was the Director of K–12 Math and Science Partnership and previously served as the Director for Leadership Development and Director for Literacy. During these years she provided leadership for school administrators and school-based coaches in standards-based teaching and learning.

Marie is an engaging and extraordinary presenter with experience at all level of schooling from pre-school to school leaders.

Marie has led professional development in Finland, The Neatherlands and across Norway and Sweden and is the author of five books about Thinking and Learning skills.

Marie is certified as an Associate Trainer in `de Bono Thinking´.

In 2003 Marie was awarded the Nordic School Leader Prize by the Nordic School Leaders Organization.

Henry Toi is the Executive Director of The Art Costa Centre for Thinking. He graduated with honours in Civil Engineering from the National University of Singapore and obtained a Masters of Education from the RMIT University in Melbourne. He has authored several books, including an award winning “Phonics Zoo”, “My Little Thinking Book”, his latest being the “Habits of S.U.C.C.E.S.S.”

Graham has taught in a diverse range of schools; from the highest achieving school in New Zealand to one of the most improved schools in the UK. He has a wealth of experience in leading and sustaining thinking skills and the Habits of Mind.
