Family
Family life has changed dramatically over the last 50 years. Sometimes, rather than being attuned to one another, we are tuned into the television, the computer, the Blackberry, or the IPOD. This section provides rich examples of how families are using the Habits of Mind to help their children develop strong study habits, learn how to play with others harmoniously, and become more responsible as they make difficult choices on a daily basis. In addition, there are examples of how family life changes when children are surrounded by strong role models. The habits serve as exemplars of how to behave when you are really not certain what to do next.
